European Summer School 2020 - Europe in a changing climate
The European Summer School in Prague is an intensive 8-day learning programme focused on European integration. It is organized by one of the leading think-tanks in Central Europe, EUROPEUM Institute for European Policy, in co-operation with the Faculty of Social Sciences of the Charles University. This year’s European Summer School runs under the title “Europe in a changing climate”. This year´s title does not only reflect the rising importance of the climate change topic on the global political scale, but also the changes that are taking place in the European Union, such as newly appointed European Commission, Parliament, or Brexit as historically the first departure of an EU member state. How will the post-Brexit European Union look like? What is the future of transatlantic relations and should the EU work on its strategic autonomy? What is the Union´s position on the global stage? Is the EU a competent role model able to help battling the climate change globally? What are the climate trends in Western and Eastern Europe? And what are the future trends concerning migration to Europe? Find out in Prague, at the 18th annual European Summer School!
