Academic programJuly 15th - July 25th 2017
The program is comprised of short lectures that introduce the main topics of the course, debates with experts, moderated debates between students, meetings with relevant stakeholders and visits to state institutions dealing with European topics.
Over the 10 days, students will participate in 10 interactive lectures, 3 excursions, 2 meetings with stakeholders, 1 introductory lesson on debating and 1 Oxford-style debate.
We want to get the students involved as much as possible and to give them the opportunity to discuss current EU issues with experts and equally motivated students. Therefore, the program will highlight the importance of Q&A sessions and will be complemented by an Oxford-style debate, where students will be divided into smaller groups and assigned a position to argue for a more supranational or intergovernmental design of a selected policy.
